Nights in white sat in beautiful surroundings at La Manga Club

17 July 2018

In legend white knights would always ride to the rescue of a damsel in distress – at Spain’s five-star La Manga Club, this summer, White Nights bring relief to those looking for a fabulous night out.

This will be the fourth year the themed beach parties have taken place and their popularity seems to grow year on year.. This year’s White Nights at La Cala will take place on Friday, July 20 and Friday, August 10, with attendees encouraged to head to the beach wearing white, where they will be greeted with a welcome cocktail, a buffet dinner, an open bar and live music.

A spokesman for La Manga Club said: “Over the past two years, these events have proven to be the perfect night out for couples, families and friends as the cove is a spectacular setting for an event: surrounded by mountains and embraced by the gentle Mediterranean breeze.

“The buffet will offer delicious dishes created by our own top chefs and the live music will get you up dancing so you can burn off your calories. In previous years the events have proved extremely popular and have been over-subscribed, so we would recommend booking to avoid disappointment.”

Tickets for the White Nights at La Cala cost €108 for adults and €59 for under-12s, with the entertainment running right through until 1am.

Three times the size of Monaco and nestling in an exclusive corner of Murcia, south-east Spain, La Manga Club has been at the forefront of European golf since opening in 1972, with its facilities including three 18-hole courses, a nine-hole academy course and outstanding practice area.

Having already hosted the 2018 Spanish Amateur Golf Championship, the resort also staged the 22nd edition of the popular Footballers’ Golf Classic last month, while the award-winning venue will be the focus of the global golf industry in November when it hosts the World Golf Awards for the second year running.

The official overseas training base of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), La Manga Club’s unrivalled extensive other facilities include a 28-court tennis centre, a new European Cricket Performance Centre and a 2,000sqm Wellness Centre. In addition, it features the choice of a five-star hotel, four-star serviced apartments and townhouses and more than 15 bars and restaurants.
