From April the 5th to the 8th, the first edition of the “Borgo Egnazia Spring Trophy” will be held at San Domenico Golf.
Savelletri di Fasano (BR), February 12th 2018 – From Thursday the 5th to Sunday the 8th of April, Borgo Egnazia is hosting the first edition of “Borgo Egnazia Spring Trophy”, an event for amateur players and aficionados of “the most beautiful game in the world”: golf.
For three days the evocative San Domenico Golf 18-hole course, enveloped by century-old olive trees, the sea and the Mediterranean scrub, will host an appointment that promise an experience of great fun, with Amateur golfers from all over the world ready to compete in a two day individual Stableford contest.
The “Borgo Egnazia Spring Trophy” won’t only be about golfing, but it will also offer the opportunity to discover the colours of springtime, to indulge the pleasures of our cultural traditions and enjoy the food and wine treasures of Puglia.
The program includes one practice round and two rounds of tournament (stroke play/individual Stableford) followed by the Prize giving ceremony amongst the millennial olive groves and the crystal blue Adriatic Sea.
A tournament bound to become an annual appointment, the “Borgo Egnazia Spring Trophy” is supported by the collaboration with Air Dolomiti, Italian airline of the Lufthansa Group, that offers, for this tournament, attractive rates and the possibility of transporting golf bags free of charge in place of hold baggage.
